Commercial construction is our focus and the majority of our work. We also take on a limited number of custom home and renovation projects, and we deliver new residential construction through a partner company.
What we take on
Renovations and custom work
Whole-home renovations, additions and high-specification interior work, handled directly by MCG. The approach is the same one we bring to commercial projects: costs attached to decisions early, one point of accountability, and a schedule built backwards from the date you need to move in.
New home construction
New residential construction is delivered through 1206462 B.C. Ltd., a licensed residential builder, rather than by MCG directly. In British Columbia, builders of new homes must be licensed by BC Housing and provide 2-5-10 Home Warranty coverage — a regime that does not apply to commercial work.
Structuring new build this way keeps the licence and the warranty where the Homeowner Protection Act requires them, and keeps your coverage intact. MCG handles the design, the programme and the construction management; the licensed builder holds the licence and the warranty. You deal with one team throughout.

All residential construction, general contracting services, municipal building permit filings, and mandatory BC 2-5-10 Home Warranty coverage are executed and provided directly by Licensed Residential Builder, 1206462 B.C. Ltd. (BC Housing Builder Licence #: 46258) in full compliance with the British Columbia Homeowner Protection Act.
